In 1909 , a teacher in medicine found the nicotine in the tobacco plant.Today we know that nicotine represent five percent of the plant and that it is the only plant in the world to contain it. Nicotine directly plays on our brain , in a region named accubens stone which is linked to the pleasure; it stimulates our nervous system. Nicotine's effect act quickly : seven seconds to go from lips to brain.It reacts by producting endorphins which put you on a little cloud.

Nicotine doesn't affects social life but it's very easy to get somebody used to it. With cocaïne and heroïne , nicotine is one of the three more addictive drugs . Four or five cigarettes a day can easeally make you becoming a drug addict.(mikey photo)

According to the Moundial Health Organisation , more than 60 millions people died in the second half of th XX century because of tobacco wrongdoings. In France , tobacco is responsible of 60 000 death a year.
